Get Your Opposition On the Record!

If you wish to register your opposition to one of the move-ins listed here, you must get your comments to the FCC by the date shown; most are due April 16, 2007.

Information on filing Informal Objections with the FCC can be found on the Prometheus Radio Project Web site. This material is oriented primarily to LPFM operators, but much of it applies to citizens in losing communities, too.

FCC filing deadlines are even less flexible than the IRS's! Your filing must be received at the FCC by the deadline; postmarks mean nothing at the FCC. If you have any thought of acting to stop a station move, you must file an informal objection to preserve your right to challenge a move-in later, whether before the FCC or the Courts.
